Be Still and Know

"Be still, and know that I am God" is no coffee-mug platitude. In Psalm 46, it's a command spoken into chaos. A look at both halves of the verse — letting go of what we grip, and the God whose victory is already certain. You can open your hands today, not because life is calm, but because He is God. (Psalm 46:10)

About the Podcast

Be Still and Know
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Scripture, taught slowly and without rush. Be Still offers full expository sermons that walk carefully through the text, plus shorter midweek episodes to steady your week. Named for the verse my grandmother held close all her life — and offered now as a place to stop, listen, and remember who God is.
In a loud and hurried world, come and be still.

I'm Jeff — the heart behind Be Still and Know. This show started from a simple desire: to slow down and actually sit with God's Word, without the rush. It's named for Psalm 46:10, my grandmother's favorite verse — "Be still, and know that I am God." Every episode, I try to walk through Scripture honestly and carefully, paired with original songs, as a place for you to pause in the middle of a noisy week and be reminded of who God is. I'm glad you're here.
